## The Trash Pack Series 1 – Crud Can #077 (Gross Ghost / Translucent Variant) RARE

Uncover a spectral surprise with this rare edition of a Trash Pack icon: the *Series 1 Crud Can #077 (Gross Ghost Variant)*. While the standard Crud Can is a staple of the “Hard Rubbish” team, this rare *”Gross Ghost”* edition transforms the grime-covered metal container into a haunting, *translucent phantom*. Released as part of the limited *Gross Ghosts* expansion (which revisited classic Series 1 molds), this figure is a “Chase” item that is highly sought after by collectors. This item is *pre-owned and sold loose*, ready to haunt your collection.

## The Eerie “Gross Ghost” Translucent Finish

The defining feature of this rare variant is its ghostly material. Unlike the solid, opaque rubber of the standard Series 1 figure, the *Gross Ghost* version is molded from a special *semi-transparent plastic*. Light passes through the dented sides of the can and the slime monster within, giving it an ethereal, ectoplasmic appearance—like a spirit possessing a trash can. Whether it appears in a spooky pale blue, slime green, or clear finish (depending on the specific release batch), it creates a stunning visual effect that distinguishes it from the millions of regular Trashies produced.

## Character Profile: Crud Can #077

*Crud Can* is a legendary character from the original Series 1 lineup. The sculpt captures a battered, corrugated trash can with a menacing, slimy creature peeking out from under the lid. As character *#077*, it is a foundational piece of Trash Pack history. This “Ghost” version reimagines the character as a poltergeist of the dump, adding a layer of spooky lore to your Trash Town. It’s the perfect blend of “gross” and “ghostly.”

## A Rare Collector’s Chase Piece

The *Gross Ghosts* series are highly prized because they offer a unique aesthetic twist on the most nostalgic Series 1 molds. Finding a specific character like Crud Can in this ghost style is a challenge. These figures were often distributed in special tin packs or limited mystery runs, making them much scarcer than the standard retail versions. It represents the perfect crossover between vintage nostalgia and the thrill of hunting rare variants.

## Squishy, Spooky, and Durable

Despite its spectral appearance, this Crud Can retains the signature tactile fun of The Trash Pack. Made from durable, squishy rubber, it is satisfying to squeeze and handle. The figure features the standard hollow base, making it compatible with pencil tops and all Trash Pack playset pegs. Whether you display it in the *Garbage Truck*, the *Scum Drum*, or line it up with other ghosts, it adds a unique flair to your setup.

## Pre-Owned Condition Note

This figure is listed as *Used*, meaning it has been removed from its original packaging and is sold *loose*. We have carefully inspected it to ensure the translucent rubber is clean and free from major ink stains or damage. As a vintage item, there may be extremely minor signs of handling, but the unique “ghostly” finish is fully intact. We provide “In Kind” photos so you can examine the specific shade and transparency of this rare trash can.

## Don’t Let It Vanish

Ghost variants are elusive—they appear in the market and vanish just as quickly. Whether you are building a full “Hard Rubbish” team or a specialized “Gross Ghosts” display, the *Crud Can #077* is a critical addition. Grab this phantom collectible before it disappears into the ether!
